SCOTT Sports India Launches its Motosports Division at Rider Mania, Goa

SCOTT Sports India, the Indian arm of the globally-recognized multisport company SCOTT Sports, launched its Motosports division in India at the renowned motor biking event Rider Mania in Goa over the weekend. The SCOTT Moto range consists of both On Road and Off Road product offerings in the apparel, protection and accessories categories.

SCOTT as a brand has always been synonymous with innovative technology and design, and it proves this further as it adds another feather to its cap with the launch of its Motosports Division in India for motor biking gear. Apparel, protection and accessories are the focus of Scott Moto range and it consists of both On Road and Off Road gear.

In the Off Road category, SCOTT‘s product offerings have always been the most popular choice of athletes spanning across the sports of – skiing, motocross, downhill biking, etc. The SCOTT Goggles and MX Helmets are widely used by the athletes across these sports but the range further consists of Gloves, Jerseys, Pants and MX Boots. Other than these, there is also a complete range of body armour specifically designed for the same. The focus is strongly on eyewear and the most loved SCOTT Goggles feature a whole array of class-leading technologies such as UV protection, anti-fog, custom-fit facemasks and OTG lenses.

In the On Road category, SCOTT has a focused range and offers Jackets, Pants, Denims, Balaclava, Gloves, and Protectors. Jackets are the focus of this range, and they come in a variety of usage options – from track leathers to touring jackets. There is also a range of jackets in breathable fabrics, which is good for a tropical climate like here in India. You have an option of adding back protectors in them, which one wears on the inside, and they come with straps to ensure a custom fit for the rider. In the case of protectors, a customer has a choice to choose from SAS Tec elbow, shoulder, hip and back protectors which he/she can choose to buy and fit into their jackets.

In the denims, SCOTT is one of the few brands to offer both men and women options. It is one of the few brands to offer riding denims for women. The jeans come with Kevlar/Aramid base lining which helps in abrasion resistance during a crash/slide. They come with preinstalled SAS Tec knee guards. There is also an optional hip protector pocket to fit the SAS Tec hip protectors (sold separately). Gloves range from the full gauntlet-touring type to the wrist length and there are street gloves, which come with carbon fiber knuckle protection.

Prices of the SCOTT Moto range start at INR 5,000/- and go up to INR 30,000/-.
